Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add the dried cranberries and orange zest, stirring evenly.
- Combine the heavy cream, egg, and vanilla in a separate bowl and whisk until creamy.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Form the dough into a round shape about 1 inch thick and cut into wedges.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving.
