Description

A comforting dish that combines tender noodles and rich ground pork in a savory sauce, garnished with fresh green onions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz noodles (egg noodles or rice noodles)
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Once cooked to al dente, drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare a large skillet by heating a drizzle of oil over medium heat.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic and grated ginger for about a minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the ground pork and cook until browned, breaking it into smaller pieces.
  5. Mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil in a small bowl.
  6. Combine the cooked noodles and the sauce mixture in the skillet and stir gently.
  7. Finish cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes to meld flavors.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.

Notes

Adjust seasonings to taste. Pair with garlic bok choy or steamed broccoli for a complete meal.
