Description

A delightful crispy chicken sandwich with juicy chicken and fresh toppings, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, boneless
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko or regular)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 sandwich buns (brioche or ciabatta)
  • Lettuce (iceberg or romaine)
  • Tomato slices
  • Mayo or your favorite sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Set up your breading station with flour in one bowl, beaten egg in the second, and breadcrumbs in the third.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into the egg, and press into the breadcrumbs.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the chicken on it.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes, flipping halfway until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
  7. Toast the sandwich buns until lightly golden.
  8. Assemble the sandwiches with a crispy chicken breast on each bun, topped with lettuce, tomato slices, and mayo.
