- 1 can apple pie filling
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Ice cream or whipped cream for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Pour the apple pie filling into the bottom of the Crock Pot, letting it settle and cover the surface evenly.
- Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the apple filling.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon on top of the cake mix.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the entire cake mix.
- If using, sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
- Cover and cook on high for 120 to 180 minutes or on low for 240 to 300 minutes, until the cake is set and the edges are golden.
- Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
