- 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 8 oz pasta (like rotini or penne)
- 1 cup pepperoni slices
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Brown the meat: Start by heating a skillet over medium heat, add the meat with the onion and bell pepper, and brown the meat for about 7–10 minutes.
- Mix in the slow cooker: Transfer the meat mixture into your slow cooker, pour in the marinara sauce, sprinkle the Italian seasoning, and add the uncooked pasta. Stir well.
- Layer the pepperoni: Scatter the pepperoni slices on top of your combined mixture.
- Let it slow cook: Cover and set to cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
- Cheesy finish: During the last 30 minutes, sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Serve and savor: Once the cheese is melted and bubbling, serve your Crockpot Pizza Casserole!
