Description

A comforting and indulgent breakfast casserole made with flaky croissants, eggs, and cheese.


Ingredients

  • 4 large croissants, cut into pieces
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup deli meats (ham, turkey, or your choice), chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: herbs (like chives or parsley) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Layer the croissant pieces in a greased baking dish.
  4. Add the chopped deli meats over the croissant layer.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layers.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Using day-old croissants works best for texture; you can prepare the casserole the night before for convenience.
