- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup caramel bits
- 1 teaspoon sea salt for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream the butter and sugars in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well, then incorporate the vanilla extract.
- Mix the dry ingredients in another bowl and gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and caramel bits.
- Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
- Portion tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheet, leaving space between each.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are set but centers remain soft.
- Sprinkle sea salt on top while warm.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
