Description

Drunken Noodles charm your senses with bold flavors and textures, featuring chewy rice noodles enveloped in a savory sauce with fresh vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz rice noodles
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice noodles according to package instructions. Once tender, drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the skillet with vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Sauté the sliced onions and minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add the bell pepper, julienned carrots, and broccoli. Stir-fry for about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Prepare the sauce by whisking together soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and sugar in a small bowl.
  6. Combine the cooked noodles and sauce in the skillet, tossing gently.
  7. Finish by stirring in fresh basil leaves.
  8. Serve warm, garnishing with chili flakes if desired.
