Description

A decadent chocolate cake featuring creamy pockets of cream cheese, crunchy coconut, and nuts for a delightful texture.


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Mix the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. Blend the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar in another bowl until creamy.
  5. Spoon dollops of the cream cheese mixture over the chocolate batter.
  6. Add the shredded coconut, chopped nuts, and chocolate chips on top.
  7. Swirl the cream cheese mixture gently into the chocolate batter using a knife.
  8. Bake the cake for 40-45 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Cool in the pan before serving.
