Description

Delicious, soft-centered chocolate chip cookies with a perfect balance of flavors and textures.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, along with the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Spoon dollops of dough onto a prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and the center is slightly soft.
  9. Cool on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

For best results, chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. You can customize with nuts or different chocolate varieties.
