Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, along with the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spoon dollops of dough onto a prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and the center is slightly soft.
- Cool on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
For best results, chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. You can customize with nuts or different chocolate varieties.
