- 1 pound ground meat (beef, turkey, or chicken)
- 2 cups mixed fresh veggies (bell peppers, onions, and carrots)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your preference)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup cooked rice or pasta (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown the ground meat in a large skillet over medium heat, stirring frequently until fully cooked (5-7 minutes).
- Add the mixed veggies to the skillet and sauté until tender (3-4 minutes).
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, coating the meat and veggies. Season with salt and pepper.
- If using, mix in the cooked rice or pasta.
- Transfer the mixture to your prepared casserole dish.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
