- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup red and blue M&M candies
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, and then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl, then gradually add to the butter mixture.
- Fold in the M&M candies.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized dollops of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
Allow cookies to cool slightly before transferring to maintain texture. You can prepare the dough in advance and refrigerate it.
