Description

A delightful combination of tender steak bites and creamy Alfredo tortellini, perfect for cozy weeknights or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package tortellini (cheese or spinach-filled)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Melt butter and sear steak: In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the steak bites, seasoning generously with salt and pepper. Sear until browned on all sides and cooked to your desired doneness—about 4-5 minutes. Remove the steak and set aside.
  2. Sauté garlic: In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, careful not to burn.
  3. Cook the tortellini: Prepare tortellini according to package instructions (3-5 minutes). Drain and return to the pot.
  4. Prepare the Alfredo sauce: Add heavy cream and grated Parmesan to the pot with the tortellini, stirring until melted and creamy.
  5. Combine and serve: Gently fold steak bites back into the pot, ensuring they mingle with the tortellini and sauce. Serve in bowls, garnished with parsley.

Notes

Can substitute steak with chicken or shrimp. For a lighter version, replace heavy cream with cashew cream.
