Description

A creamy and flavorful Garlic Parmesan Pasta that brings comfort and indulgence in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta (spaghetti or any preferred type)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add your choice of pasta and cook according to package instructions. Once tender, drain and set aside, retaining a cup of pasta water.
  2. Heat the olive oil: In a large skillet over medium heat, warm the olive oil until it shimmers.
  3. Sauté the garlic: Add minced garlic to the skillet, stirring for about a minute or until it turns golden and fragrant. Be careful not to let it burn.
  4. Combine pasta and sauce: Add the drained pasta to the skillet. Toss gently to coat the noodles in the garlicky oil.
  5. Stir in Parmesan and herbs: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese and parsley over the pasta. Combine until the cheese melts and the pasta becomes creamy.
  6. Season and serve: Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve immediately on plates, garnished with extra parsley and Parmesan.

Notes

Prep ingredients in advance for a smoother cooking process. Reserve pasta water for a creamy sauce.
