- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions
- Marinate the chicken by combining with soy sauce and cornstarch for 20 minutes.
- Fry the chicken in hot vegetable oil until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the chicken and set aside.
- Sauté minced garlic and ginger in the same skillet until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add chicken broth, sugar, rice vinegar, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil to the skillet; stir well.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
- Cook for a few more minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Serve the chicken over rice, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
