Description

A delicious fusion of grilled cheese and burrito, featuring melted cheese, optional ground beef, and a crispy exterior.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked and seasoned ground beef (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup taco sauce
  • Butter or cooking spray for grilling

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Lightly grease it with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Layer half of the cheddar cheese on one tortilla, followed by the mozzarella cheese. If using, sprinkle the ground beef atop the cheese.
  3. Spread the sour cream over the fillings, then drizzle with taco sauce.
  4. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and place the second tortilla on top.
  5. Carefully flip the burrito, grilling until both sides are golden brown.
  6. Slice the burrito in half and serve warm.

Notes

Add sautéed peppers or black beans for a vegetarian option. This dish can also be cooked in an air fryer or oven for a healthier twist.
