Description

Deliciously flaky biscuits filled with rich ham and melted cheese, perfect for any meal or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 cup shredded ham
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the ham and cheese gently to combine.
  5. Gradually add the milk and mix until just combined.
  6. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently until smooth.
  7. Roll out to about 1-inch thickness and cut into rounds.
  8. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Ensure the butter is very cold for flaky layers. Don’t overmix the dough for the best texture.
