Description

Succulent, flaky pastry swirls filled with rich ham and gooey cheese. Perfect for casual gatherings or a cozy snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 4 oz sliced ham
  • 4 oz shredded cheese (cheddar or Swiss)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface to a rectangle shape, about ¼ inch thick.
  3. Layer the sliced ham evenly over the pastry.
  4. Spread the shredded cheese on top of the ham.
  5. Season the fillings with salt and pepper.
  6. Start rolling the pastry tightly to form a log.
  7. Cut the log into 1-inch pieces.
  8. Beat the egg and brush over the top of each pinwheel.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cheese bubbles.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
