- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1 cup diced ham
- 1 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar and Swiss blend recommended)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: mustard or other condiments
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
- Cut it into squares, roughly 4 inches on each side.
- Place a small amount of diced ham and cheese in the center of each square.
- Fold the pastry over to create a pocket, crimping the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until puffed and golden.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
