Description

These Ham and Cheese Puff Pastry Sticks are golden, flaky, and filled with gooey cheese and savory ham, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 100g sliced ham
  • 100g shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface until thinner.
  3. Cut the rolled pastry into strips about 4-5 cm wide.
  4. Place a slice of ham and a generous sprinkle of cheese on the lower half of each strip.
  5. Fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges with a fork.
  6. Beat the egg in a small bowl, then brush it over the tops of each pastry stick.
  7. Carefully lay the sticks onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each one.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

These pastries can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the fridge until ready to bake. Consider using air fryer for a crispier texture.
