- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 100g sliced ham
- 100g shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface until thinner.
- Cut the rolled pastry into strips about 4-5 cm wide.
- Place a slice of ham and a generous sprinkle of cheese on the lower half of each strip.
- Fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges with a fork.
- Beat the egg in a small bowl, then brush it over the tops of each pastry stick.
- Carefully lay the sticks onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each one.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
These pastries can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the fridge until ready to bake. Consider using air fryer for a crispier texture.
