Ingredients

- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 4 ounces of ham, sliced
- 4 ounces of cheese (e.g., cheddar or Swiss), grated
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface until it’s about ¼ inch thick.
- Cut the pastry into squares, about 4 inches on each side.
- Place a slice of ham and a generous amount of grated cheese in the center of each square.
- Fold the corners over the filling to create a pocket and pinch the edges to seal.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Place the pockets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
