Description

Delicious Ham Cheese Puffs with a flaky pastry crust and savory filling, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 sheets of frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 10 oz sliced deli ham
  • 8 oz cheese slices (Gruyère, Swiss, or mozzarella)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Cut each sheet into squares or circles, about 4 inches wide.
  4. Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese in the center of each piece of pastry.
  5. Fold the pastry over to enclose the filling and press the edges to seal.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These puffs can be prepped in advance and frozen. Bake from frozen, adding extra time as needed.
