Ingredients

- 2 sheets of frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 10 oz sliced deli ham
- 8 oz cheese slices (Gruyère, Swiss, or mozzarella)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface.
- Cut each sheet into squares or circles, about 4 inches wide.
- Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese in the center of each piece of pastry.
- Fold the pastry over to enclose the filling and press the edges to seal.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
These puffs can be prepped in advance and frozen. Bake from frozen, adding extra time as needed.
