Description

A creamy, dreamy Hawaiian macaroni salad with a luscious blend of tender macaroni, crisp vegetables, and a rich, velvety sauce that’s perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup finely chopped carrots
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil, then add the pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and immediately rinse under cold water.
  2. Combine the cooled macaroni with finely chopped carrots and diced onion in a large bowl.
  3. Whisk together mayonnaise and milk in a separate bowl until smooth and creamy.
  4. Pour the creamy mayonnaise mixture over the macaroni and vegetable mixture, stirring gently until well coated.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
