Description

A hearty casserole featuring layers of ground beef, potatoes, green beans, and melted cheese, perfect for cozy family meals.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the beef in a large skillet with olive oil and chopped onion until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. Layer sliced potatoes at the bottom of a baking dish, followed by green beans and the beef mixture.
  4. Add cream of mushroom soup evenly on top and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil, add shredded cheese, and bake for another 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
  7. Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, you can customize the ingredients or switch up the cheese type. This casserole can also be made ahead of time and refrigerated overnight.
