Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin pan.
  2. Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg in a mixing bowl.
  3. Whisk the milk, egg, and melted butter in another bowl until well combined.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just mixed.
  5. Fill each cavity of the muffin pan about two-thirds full with the batter.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar after cooling slightly.
