Description

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the granulated sugar, corn syrup, and water. Stir gently until the sugar completely dissolves, creating a syrupy base.
  2. Mix in Kool-Aid and Salt: Add your chosen Kool-Aid powder along with the salt, stirring briskly until the mixture achieves a vibrant color, bursting with fruity flavor.
  3. Incorporate Gelatin (if using): If you desire a chewier texture, sprinkle in the gelatin and stir until it fully dissolves into the mixture, creating a smooth consistency.
  4. Bring to a Boil: Increase the heat and bring the mixture to a boil. Keep a close eye on it to ensure it doesn’t boil over; this step takes about 5 minutes.
