- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs

- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the mixture, beating until well combined.
- Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl, then gradually incorporate this into the wet ingredients.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Scoop portions of dough onto the baking sheet, leaving space between each mound.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
Notes
For extra chewy cookies, use more brown sugar and slightly underbake. Store baked cookies in an airtight container for up to a week.
