Description

Delightful key lime pie bars with creamy tart filling and a buttery graham cracker crust, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup key lime juice
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Whipped cream (for serving)
  • Lime zest (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Press this mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×9-inch baking dish.
  3. Whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, egg yolks, and salt until smooth.
  4. Pour the filling over the crust and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center.
  6. Cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours until chilled.
  7. Cut into squares and top each with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of lime zest.

Notes
