- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- Mix the flour and powdered sugar in a medium bowl. Cut in the softened butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden.
- Whisk together the eggs, granulated sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, and salt in another bowl until smooth.
- Pour the lemon filling over the warm crust.
- Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until the filling is set but slightly jiggly in the center.
- Cool completely before dusting with powdered sugar and cutting into squares.
