Description

Delightful rolls filled with creamy lemon-infused cream cheese, perfect for breakfast or as a sweet treat any time of the day.


Ingredients

  • 1 can of crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix the filling by blending softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth.
  3. Prepare the crescent dough by unrolling it on a lightly floured surface and separating it into triangles.
  4. Add a generous spoonful of the creamy mixture on the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll it up from the wide end towards the point, sealing in the filling.
  6. Position the rolled crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute half of the sugar with a sugar alternative. Use Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese for a tangy twist.
