- 1 can of crescent roll dough
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix the filling by blending softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth.
- Prepare the crescent dough by unrolling it on a lightly floured surface and separating it into triangles.
- Add a generous spoonful of the creamy mixture on the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll it up from the wide end towards the point, sealing in the filling.
- Position the rolled crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute half of the sugar with a sugar alternative. Use Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese for a tangy twist.
