  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Begin by activating the yeast: In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast and 1 tablespoon of sugar in warm milk. After five minutes, it should become frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, blend the melted butter, remaining sugar, and eggs until well combined. Stir in the foamy yeast mixture.
  3. Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic, then cover and let rise for 1 hour.
  5. Once risen, roll the dough into a rectangle, spread the lemon curd evenly over the surface.
  6. Carefully roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into 1-inch thick rolls.
  7. Let the rolls rise for an additional 30 minutes while preheating your oven to 350°F.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Prepare the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar, lemon juice, and zest until smooth, then drizzle over warm rolls.
