Description

A deliciously indulgent yet light dish featuring ground beef and shredded cabbage, enhanced with savory soy sauce and fresh aromatics.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 cups cabbage, shredded
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing until aromatic, about 30 seconds.
  3. Toss in the ground beef, cooking until golden brown and breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in the shredded cabbage and soy sauce, mixing well. Cover and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is tender but slightly crisp.
  5. Sprinkle in salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

This dish can be meal-prepped and stored for quick lunches throughout the week. Customize with additional veggies or spices as desired.
