Description

A comforting casserole featuring tender shredded chicken, creamy sauce, and fluffy rice, perfect for family dinners and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) chicken broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine cooked chicken, rice, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, onion, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch casserole dish.
  4. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
  5. Remove the foil and sprinkle cheese on top (if using) and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For make-ahead options, prepare the casserole a day in advance and refrigerate until baking. Ensure to cover tightly to prevent drying.
