Description

Deliciously chewy oatmeal raisin bars, perfect for satisfying sweet cravings and providing comfort in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • ½ cup raisins
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Combine the rolled oats, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in the raisins until evenly distributed.
  7. Spread the mixture evenly into a greased 9×13-inch baking pan.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool in the pan before cutting into bars.
