Description

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 1/4 cups warm water
  • 1/2 cup sourdough starter

Instructions

  1. Combine the flour, salt, and instant yeast in a large bowl, mixing well.
  2. Pour in the warm water and sourdough starter, mixing until a rough dough forms.
  3. Cover the bowl with a damp kitchen towel and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  4. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Transfer the dough to a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for about 4 hours until doubled in size.
  6. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) with a Dutch oven inside.
  7. Turn the risen dough onto a floured surface, shape into a loaf, and place it on parchment paper.
  8. Carefully remove the hot Dutch oven, place the loaf inside, cover, and bake for 30 minutes.
  9. Remove the lid and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Cool the bread on a wire rack before slicing.

Notes
