- 1/2 cup sourdough starter
Instructions
- Combine the flour, salt, and instant yeast in a large bowl, mixing well.
- Pour in the warm water and sourdough starter, mixing until a rough dough forms.
- Cover the bowl with a damp kitchen towel and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Transfer the dough to a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for about 4 hours until doubled in size.
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) with a Dutch oven inside.
- Turn the risen dough onto a floured surface, shape into a loaf, and place it on parchment paper.
- Carefully remove the hot Dutch oven, place the loaf inside, cover, and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the lid and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool the bread on a wire rack before slicing.
