Description

A warm and creamy dish featuring ricotta and marinara, perfect for families and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz large pasta shells
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta shells until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Combine the Cheesy Filling: In a large skillet, mix ricotta, marinara, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper over medium heat until warm.
  3. Add the Pasta: Gently stir in the drained pasta shells until well-coated.
  4. Cheese It Up: Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  5. Let it Simmer: Cover and simmer for 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Add fresh basil before serving.

Notes
