Description

A harmonious blend of cheeseburger flavors and classic lasagna, featuring layers of savory beef, crispy bacon, and a creamy cheese filling.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 8 strips of bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Italian seasoning to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, bacon, onion, and garlic until the beef is browned, about 7-10 minutes.
  4. Drain any excess fat and stir in the marinara sauce, allowing it to bubble for a few moments.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until creamy.
  6. Assemble your lasagna in a 9×13 inch baking dish by layering meat sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Repeat the layering until all ingredients are used, finishing with meat sauce topped with extra mozzarella.
  8. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes until cheese is golden.
  9. Cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

You can assemble the lasagna a day in advance and bake it directly from the fridge, adding a few extra minutes to the bake time.
