- 1 package of Oreo cookies
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups whipped topping
- 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- Red and blue food coloring (optional)
- Fresh berries for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the base: Crush half of the Oreo cookies in a zip-top bag or food processor until they resemble fine crumbs. Layer them evenly in the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish.
- Mix the cream cheese layer: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar. Mix with a whisk until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Add whipped topping: Gently fold in 1 cup of whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture. Spread half of this fluffy mixture over the Oreo layer.
- Make the pudding layer: In another bowl, whisk the instant vanilla pudding mix with 2 cups of milk until the pudding thickens.
- Layer the pudding: Spread half of the thickened pudding over the cream cheese layer.
- Add color (optional): Mix red and blue food coloring into the remaining whipped topping until you achieve your desired shade.
- Repeat the layers: Add the remaining crushed Oreos, followed by the rest of the cream cheese mixture and pudding layer. Top with the colorful whipped topping.
- Garnish: Scatter fresh berries over the top.
- Chill: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, substitute cream cheese and whipped topping with plant-based alternatives. Ensure cream cheese is softened to avoid lumps.
