Description

Tender and juicy pulled pork cooked to perfection with a blend of spices, perfect for sandwiches or as a main dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 Boston Butt Pork Shoulder
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Onion Powder
  • 1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Rub the pork shoulder generously with the spice blend, covering every inch.
  3. Prepare the roasting pan by placing the seasoned pork fat side up.
  4. Pour the apple cider vinegar over the pork.
  5. Sprinkle brown sugar on top to create a crust.
  6. Cover the roast with aluminum foil and bake for 4-6 hours.
  7. Let the pork rest for at least 20 minutes before shredding with two forks.
  8. Serve with your choice of sides or barbecue sauce.

Notes

Pulled pork is great for meal prep and can be made in advance. Store in the fridge for up to three days or freeze for longer storage.
