Description

A comforting bowl of noodles featuring savory ground pork, aromatic garlic, and ginger, all coated in rich sauces for a delicious weeknight meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz egg noodles or ramen noodles
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Begin by cooking the egg noodles or ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Once tender, drain them and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant, about one minute.
  4. Introduce the ground pork to the skillet, breaking it up with your spatula and cooking until golden-brown.
  5. Thoroughly stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, and pepper.
  6. Carefully add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing them to coat evenly with the sauce and pork.
  7. Garnish with the chopped green onions and serve warm.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare the pork mixture in advance and store it separately from the noodles. For added texture, feel free to incorporate vegetables like bok choy or broccoli.
