Description

Delicious breakfast puffs filled with savory sausage, creamy eggs, and melty cheese, perfect for any morning.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package puff pastry sheets
  • 1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface and cut them into squares, roughly 4 inches each side.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, crumbled sausage, shredded cheese, milk, salt, and pepper until combined and fluffy.
  4. Place a spoonful of the mixture in the center of each pastry square, making sure not to overfill.
  5. Fold the pastry over to create a pocket and seal the edges tightly with a fork.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare a batch and keep them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
