Description

Juicy meatballs slow-cooked in a sweet and savory honey teriyaki sauce, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound frozen meatballs
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Mix the sauce by whisking together honey, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, minced garlic, and minced ginger in a slow cooker.
  2. Add the frozen meatballs to the sauce, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until the meatballs are heated through.
  4. Serve the meatballs warm, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.

Notes

For a less sweet version, reduce the amount of honey. Fresh meatballs can also be used; adjust cooking time as necessary.
