- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder

- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine your sliced apples with brown sugar in a mixing bowl and let them sit.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in another bowl.
- Mix together the melted butter, vanilla extract, milk, and egg in a separate bowl until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and fold gently until just combined.
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and pour the batter evenly into it.
- Layer the apple mixture on top, allowing the apples to submerge slightly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cobbler to cool slightly before serving.
