Description

Delightful Sourdough Peanut Butter Cookies with a unique flavor fusion of creamy peanut butter and tangy sourdough.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1 cup sourdough discard
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together the peanut butter, sourdough discard, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Whisk together the baking soda and salt in another bowl.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Flatten each cookie slightly with a fork in a crisscross pattern.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
  8. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
