- 250g ricotta cheese
- 200g fresh spinach
- 200g mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions, ensuring it remains al dente; drain and set aside.
- Heat the skillet over medium heat and add olive oil. Once shimmering, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Toss in the fresh spinach, stirring until it wilts down (roughly 2-3 minutes).
- Combine the cooked pasta, ricotta cheese, wilted spinach, and half of the mozzarella in a mixing bowl. Mix well.
- Pour in the marinara sauce, seasoning with salt and pepper. Stir until thoroughly mixed.
- Transfer this mixture to your baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Top generously with the remaining mozzarella.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melty and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh basil, serve hot, and enjoy!
Notes
Assemble the dish a day in advance for convenience. It can be cooked in an air fryer for 15-20 minutes at 180°C.
