Description

Indulge in flaky, buttery cruffins filled with a creamy mixture of whipped cream cheese and strawberry preserves, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup of whipped cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup of strawberry preserves
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the crescent dough on a clean surface, pinching the seams together to form a solid sheet.
  3. Spread the whipped cream cheese evenly over the dough.
  4. Next, spread the strawberry preserves over the cream cheese.
  5. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into 1-2 inch pieces.
  6. Place the slices upright in a muffin tin.
  7. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.

Notes

You can prepare the filling in advance and store it in the refrigerator. Consider using homemade crescent dough or experimenting with other fillings such as lemon curd or Nutella.
