- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons baking powder

- 1/2 cup butter, melted

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the strawberries: In a medium bowl, mix sliced strawberries with 1/2 cup of sugar and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Mix the dry ingredients: Combine flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
- Combine the wet ingredients: Stir in milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until just combined.
- Assemble the cobbler: Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 baking dish, then spoon the strawberries and their juices over it.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream.
