Description

A delightful dessert featuring a crunchy pretzel crust, creamy filling, and fresh strawberry jello that creates a nostalgic flavor experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 cup sugar-free strawberry jello
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Mix the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar in a medium bowl. Press into the bottom of the prepared baking dish and bake for 10 minutes. Allow to cool.
  3. Beat the cream cheese until smooth, then fold in the whipped topping. Spread over the cooled crust.
  4. Dissolve the sugar-free strawberry jello in hot water, stirring until fully dissolved. Let it cool.
  5. Fold in the sliced strawberries, then pour the mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until jello is set. Serve chilled.

Notes

Make-ahead is recommended for the best flavor, and using an air fryer is an alternative for the crust.
