Description

A delightful dessert featuring layers of fluffy cake, sweet strawberries, and clouds of whipped cream that brings joy to any gathering.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package of shortcake or pound cake, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup vanilla pudding

Instructions

  1. Whip the heavy cream with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  2. Layer the cake pieces in a trifle dish or individual cups.
  3. Top the cake with a layer of strawberries.
  4. Spoon in a creamy layer of vanilla pudding over the strawberries.
  5. Add a dollop of whipped cream on top.
  6. Repeat layering until all ingredients are used.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For the best flavor, make the trifle a day in advance and add the strawberries just before serving.
