Description

Delicious stuffed banana peppers filled with savory ground meat, rice, and melted cheese for a comforting meal that everyone will love.


Ingredients

  • 4 banana peppers
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 pound ground meat (beef, turkey, or sausage)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to warm it for baking.
  2. Prepare the banana peppers: Cut off the tops and remove the seeds.
  3. Sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil until translucent.
  4. Brown the ground meat in the skillet until completely cooked.
  5. Combine the cooked rice and diced tomatoes with salt and pepper in the skillet.
  6. Stuff each pepper with the meat and rice mixture.
  7. Arrange the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and top with shredded cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
